As Chinese I don’t want to give this but I have to.
Not authentic Chinese food!! I came alone in the restaurant and order three dishes. I waited more than one hour before the first soep served and no taste at all. I ordered kind of dumplings soup and the dumplings are even broken.
After soep I came back to wait. I need ask many time for my second dish-fried rice. All the tables around me , sitting with other foreigners, is served quite fast. I was totally ignored. Maybe foreigners are their main customers and foreigners normally don’t order authentic Chinese dishes which are easily probably pre-prepared.
The fried rice not like fried rice at all. Everything is sticky together. The amount of dish is very small. I am very disappointed and I can’t not wait any longer for this taste so I returned the third dish. Sorry for this review but I think you could do better.
My favourite place to have proper chinese food. Small cozy place run by Jin and her family, very sweet and welcoming. There's always a waiting time in between courses but that's why the food is so delicious. Highly recommended!
Maybe the best Chinese restaurant in Rome (or at least it's the very best one I've ever been).
Delicious courses to suit all tastes, extreme friendliness and it even offers a fast take-away service.
Have a look at the entries on their menus, and check out the red marks representing the finest and often unusual dishes (there are many courses you can find only there).
Unfortunately the room is not that big to host the number of people willing to taste their delicacies, so you better book a table!
Amazing! The best chinese in Rome!
Not your average Chinese restaurant.
I'd like to open my review like this because the first feeling I had once I was done eating was not exactly the same I usually had in other Chinese restaurants.
The food is delicious and at least the curry actually tastes like curry, unlike elsewhere.
The place is a little small and it's a bit hard to move freely inside, but this is not necessarily a bad thing.
The service is not bad, a bit slow maybe, but that's only because of the time needed to actually make a pleasant food presentation (another thing you usually don't find in other restaurants of this kind).
Another good thing is that the buses stopping just outside this restaurant connect to two metro stations on the B line: Tiburtina (309) and Rebibbia (449).
One of the best Chinese restaurant in Rome!!
Not a fancy place but food is delicious and price are absolutely not expensive!
We discovered this little restaurant by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise.
The external appearance is deceiving, as soon as you enter you will be catapulted into a very intimate traditional Chinese restaurant, with a welcoming owner.
Having lived in China for several years, opening the menu and reading an innumerable quantity of typical dishes usually unobtainable here in Italy gave me hope, and I must say that expectations were more than exceeded:
- very good grilled ravioli served with a special sauce
- the best baozi I have eaten in Rome, made entirely by hand according to the traditional recipe from central-northern China (and not with bought dough as in most other restaurants which is often spongy), made me take a step back in time
- delicious Zhajiang noodles (pictured)
- equally spicy sautéed rice
- delicious sweet and sour crispy pork, among the best you can find (really crunchy)
In summary: a timeless place where you can enter and be inebriated by the goodness of traditional Chinese cuisine, at honest prices
I recommend going there when you are not in a hurry as each dish is carefully prepared on the spot, and takes a little time to arrive
We got some takeout here. The environment is very welcoming. There is a lot of choice and the dishes are excellent. I recommend the grilled ravioli and the spicy pork! 🥰
